Assumption of Risk & Release
Version 2026-08-13
1. What you are agreeing to
This document covers what can happen when contact that begins on Branded continues elsewhere: a phone call, a campus visit, a workout, a showcase, a meeting. Those things happen between you and the other person. Branded is not present at them and has no control over them.
2. We do not vet the people you meet
- Branded does not run background checks on its users. Identity verification, where a user has completed it, confirms only that a government ID matched a selfie — it does not confirm employment, a coaching position, a school affiliation, or good character.
- Anyone can describe themselves as a coach or recruiter. Confirm independently, through the school or organisation directly, before you rely on what someone tells you.
- You are responsible for your own safety in any meeting arranged through the platform. Meet in public where you can, tell someone where you are going, and — if you are under 18 — bring a parent or guardian.
3. Physical activity is your own
Any training, tryout, workout, or competition you take part in is organised by someone other than Branded. The risk of injury in those activities — including serious injury — is yours and that of whoever organises them. You are responsible for your own medical fitness, insurance, and care. Branded has no role in obtaining medical treatment for you and no ability to do so.
4. No guarantee of any outcome
Nothing on Branded is a promise that you will be recruited, offered a place, awarded a scholarship, or contacted at all. Paying for a plan buys features, not outcomes. Eligibility under NCAA, NAIA, state, school, and athletic-association rules is yours to understand and maintain, including any rule about name, image, and likeness.
5. Release
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release Branded and its officers, employees, and contractors from claims arising out of the conduct of other users, activity that takes place away from the platform, or decisions you make based on what you find here.
This release does not cover anything that cannot lawfully be released, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our own negligence, and it does not limit any right you have that the law says cannot be waived.
6. If you are under 18
In most places a minor cannot give up legal claims on their own. If you are under 18, this document must be read and agreed to by your parent or legal guardian, who agrees to it on your behalf and on their own behalf. If a court decides any part of this release cannot apply to a minor, that part simply does not apply, and the rest stands.
